KEA New Zealand

For a number of years, BDO has sponsored KEA New Zealand and in 2007 we moved our sponsorship to solely focus on their "World Class New Zealander" Awards programme. The Awards were established by NZTE in 2003 to recognise successful 'world class' Kiwis who give their time, knowledge and skills to help New Zealand companies and industries succeed internationally. Air New Zealand Wine Awards

BDO enjoys a long-standing relationship with the Air New Zealand Wine Awards: sponsoring the "Champion Other White Styles" category. The Air NZ Wine Awards are now in their 27th year and are organised by NZ Winegrowers. They aim to acknowledge excellence in NZ winemaking and we support the Awards as we have a large number of clients working in and with the wine industry. BNZ Maori Excellence in Farming Awards: 2009

BDO has taken up a new relationship for 2009 with the Ahuwhenua Trophy BNZ Maori Excellence in Farming Awards: taking up the role of Bronze Sponsor of the Awards. The competition aims to recognise excellence in farming.  In particular, successful approaches to governance, financing, maangement, innovation, environmental management and the recognition of nga tikanga Maori.  More information is available on the Awards website here.
