Mitre 10 - Langs Hardware Holdings Limit

The following Companies operating three Wellington Mitre 10 stores:
LANGS HARDWARE HOLDINGS LIMITED (IN RECEIVERSHIP)
EDWARDS HARDWARE HOLDINGS LIMITED (IN RECEIVERSHIP)
CROFTON DOWNS HARDWARE HOLDINGS LIMITED (IN RECEIVERSHIP)
BDO Auckland confirms that Brian Mayo-Smith and Andrew Bethell were appointed Receivers of the above companies on 22 December 2009.
The Receivers are continuing to trade the Companies with a view to securing a sale of the businesses. The stores have traded profitably and there were factors outside the trading of the stores that contributed to the appointment of Receivers.
The Receivers are working closely with Mitre 10 to ensure that trading continues as normal and to conduct a sale process on a going concern basis.
