Ruan joined our BDO Marlborough Tasman office in 2022 and leads the audit team with a focus on growing our audit and assurance service line and client base, and providing increased local access to quality audit and assurance services.
Ruan has over 9 years’ experience in public accounting services with a broad professional auditing experience across New Zealand and South Africa and has served clients in a wide range of industries including, not-for-profit and public sector entities, education providers, Māori businesses, wholesale and manufacturing, agriculture, and various other commercial entities.
Ruan is down to earth and has a practical and proactive approach. He enjoys getting to know his clients on their own turf, to get a comprehensive understanding and develop a strong interest in what they do, and how he can help.
Ruan and his young family are actively involved in the Marlborough community and enjoy the wonderful outdoors the region offers.
